Coining new foodie terms

This weekend Head Chef and I attended an outdoor art event. I have to say that one of the most exciting things for me about this night was finding, on the list of art committee members-types, a very foodie term-worthy name.

This name is akin to one of Rachael Ray's somewhat infuriating made-up words. "Delish" for delicious. "Sammy" for sandwich. "EVOO" for extra virgin olive oil. You know what I mean.

Anyway, this person's last name happens to be Crumlish. As in, let's combine Crumbs and Delicious to form "Crumlish."

I have decided to steal this last name and use it in my vocabulary when speaking of delicious baked goods. I am half-kidding, of course. But it just seems like such a waste to let this last name not have a chance in the everyday vernacular of the bakery.
