You can't always bake your treats. Thus a trip to Bittersweet in Oakland was taken, to indulge in a piece of Cinnamon Hot Chocolate Cake and a frothy chocolate milk. The milk was not really up this writer's alley--it was more like a milkshake (although I did appreciate the fact that it was not sweet). The cake, however, is incredibly entertaining in one's mouth, smooth, sweet and rich with just a wee tad bit of hot spice.
