Last night, taste testers from the Small Fry Crafts team traveled to A16 in the Marina District of lovely San Francisco for an enjoyable dinner. Unfortunately, no photos were taken of the food due to the fact that the writer of this particular entry was too embarrassed to engage in a photo shoot in such a nice environment.
You, gentle reader, will have to trust me with this one though. It was yummy.
Guests at the table consumed: a small bowl of wonderful green and black olives; maccaronara with tomato ragu and house-made ricotta salata; pumpkin and ricotta gnocchi with kale, red onions, pancetta and pecorino; and a margherita pizza.
Dessert was chocolate budino tart with sea salt and extra virgin olive oil, thoroughly enjoyed with a latte.
A return visit is more than likely in the near future.
